As a visually impaired person, travelling without anyone I know used to feel out of reach. So I loved going on a @traveleyesltd trip - where VI & sighted people travel together. I wrote about it for the Guardian: theguardian.com/travel/2024/…

I’m visually impaired but thanks to my guides I loved exploring Austria’s Tirol

Out celebrating submitting my PhD thesis today! It’s been an intense four years of research & writing around disability memoir. At times I wasn’t sure I’d get this far (googled “should I quit my PhD” at least once), but also really enjoyed it. Now to wait for the viva…
