Ten years ago today, our beloved friend and colleague, Jo Cox, was murdered. Today we are all thinking of Jo, of her family, friends, and all those who loved her. Every day, we strive towards creating the world that she believed in, and remember her words: “We are far more united and have far more in common than that which divides us".

As was clear during the recent campaign, the SNP are not interested in allowing women the spaces they are entitled to.

As we know, the SNP are always on top of their accounts so I’m sure there would be no concerns about the future of your pensions and savings in an independent Scotland.
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scotland deserves better than whatever crisis Westminster drags us into next. We can have a fresh start with independence. 🗳️ Vote SNP on the 18th of June to put Scotland's future in Scotland's hands.

It’s strange some are calling Sturgeon’s interview brave. What I saw was someone providing rehearsed answers that made little sense in an effort to avoid even partial accountability. Were any former UK Prime Minister doing so the SNP would be running ads about the hypocrisy.

Lots of these stories about Murrell are just unadulterated greed but I find this particularly shameful when NHS workers and many more key frontline people couldn’t get to the shops because they were helping the rest of us.
Peter Murrell bought 108 toilet rolls just hours before then First Minister Nicola Sturgeon warned the public against panic buying during the Covid pandemic. dailyrecord.co.uk/news/peter…

We had a fantastic day at Mauchline Holy Fair today, our raffle stall was a great success, raising funds for the CLP and it was great to catch up with lots of old friends. Thank you to everyone that helped out and to those who donated prizes. @ScottishLabour

It’s worth noting that had we voted for independence Peter Murrell may well have ended up in a lot more powerful a position than running the SNP.

I doubt most people in places like Cumnock voted SNP hoping for a fight with the unions that have served them well for decades.

Following requests from constituents and alongside other women MSPs I have asked the Presiding Officer and the @ScotParl Chief Executive why constituents can no longer filter MSPs by gender on the Parliament website. Erasing women doesn’t mean we will shut up and go away.

.@AndyBurnhamGM is absolutely right and we have seen the same disrespect towards former industrial communities in Scotland. The electorate have had enough.

Hopefully the next 5 years aren’t spent dodging meaningful legislation and constantly rehashing the same constitutional debate as we saw between 2021-26. We need the First Minister to lead for all of Scotland.
Parliament has voted to select John Swinney as the next First Minister of Scotland.

This is a serious concern for those of us who want to remain together. The way the UK devolves power needs to change, not just in Scotland, but across the whole country. With PC now the largest party in Wales we have to face up to that as a party.
By my count, those final results confirm a total of 73 MSPs from pro-independence parties elected to Holyrood - a record high in the history of the Scottish Parliament.
