Stellar Blade became Sony's fastest selling 1st party IP on PC, everyone absolutely lost their shit when we saw Tifa in FF7 Remake, and we were all fans of Metroid and Samus Aran long before you ever existed as a sperm in your daddy's ballsack, so cut the crap. What myself and many others are sick and tired of though, are male characters in male dominated franchises, being replaced by female characters, or rather ugly & insufferable girlbosses designed by a bunch of undesirable blue-haired Feminists. Now these developers are free to make their own games with their own characters, and if they wanna make a new IP with a female protagonist, have at it. Remedy made Control and it was a hit, so was Horizon Zero Dawn, but instead they keep hijacking established franchises to peddle their bullshit and we're tired of it. This shit right here, is the exact reason why I don't give one flying fuck that there have been 50,000 layoffs in the games industry in the last 4 years. Hell make it 100K, purge the rest of them, because if they're going to continue to ruin the franchises we love, then they deserve nothing but pure contempt and to be treated like the subhuman parasites they all are until the entire Western side of the industry is burnt to the ground.
