ALT Research poster recruiting adults with type 1 and type 2 diabetes who would like to learn ways of reducing shame and self-criticism. The research is exploring whether Compassionate Mind Training can help reduce experiences of shame and self-criticism.
It is an intervention where you could be allocated to one of two groups, intervention or control, to access Compassionate Mind Training.
To take part, you must be above 18 years old, have had your type 1 or type 2 diabetes diagnosis for at least a year, not be currently accessing psychological therapy, not be experiencing mental health distress, self-harm or suicidal ideation and you must have access to the internet.
The benefit of taking part is that you will have access to a compassionate mind training package and you can enter a prize draw to win one of four £25 vouchers.
