At Tuesday Council meeting I moved a motion asking the Lord Mayor to commit to upgrading by June 30 the most dangerous intersection in Brisbane, Archerfield & pine Rd Richlands, they amended the motion only for design, Another broken promise by this L/M.

Council has 1 standing committee that has exclusive LNP membership. Over the last 5 meetings, that committee has met for 32 minutes a week. This committee had $4300 spent on catering this FY to date! Other committees have instant coffee and packs of biscuits. Typical LNP rort!

The LNP say asking for a strategy, which has bipartisan support, to be reviewed and updated with new actions after 2 years is politicising violence against women? What am I missing here?

You should be ashamed of yourself for politicising violence against women, children and men. People have a right to live free from violence, abuse and intimidation and we will continue to review and improve Council's domestic violence strategy until this scourge is stamped out.
