I ain't reading all that, congratulations to your parent btw.
While I was serving, my parents called me one day and said that immediately after I left the village during Christmas, one of their family friends came visiting with his friend who lived in the USA.
Apparently, the man saw my pictures and liked me.
My parents gave him my number, and we started talking.
After a while, he said he wanted us to meet. I had to travel from where I was serving to a nearby state just to see him. The funny thing is, I didn’t ask him for transport fare, food, or anything. We simply met at a mall, sat down, talked, and I left.
Later, he messaged me saying he was impressed that I didn’t ask him for money. According to him, that wasn’t what he had been experiencing since arriving in Nigeria.
