Communities Minister @gordonlyons1 has launched an ambitious cross-departmental plan to tackle housing issues. Minister Lyons set out the first whole system Housing Supply Strategy at the Assembly. He said: “The housing issues we face are significant, and the current situation is not sustainable. For too long, there has been no joined-up, cross-departmental approach to housing supply. Great news! The NI Executive has adopted the Housing Supply Strategy. This ambitious plan aims to deliver 100,000 homes over 15 years 🏠
We endorse this strategy and look forward to working with partners to help deliver much-needed homes.

Much work needs to be done to address deep-seated barriers to supply, ensuring the strategy's success. Alongside @NIFHA, @HomelessNI & @HousingRightsNI today we have written to ministers seeking adequate funding in 2025/26: cih.org/news/housing-and-hom…
