The rough sleeping emergency is a source of national shame that must be fixed.
During our inquiry, we heard how the number of people sleeping rough is shockingly high and still on the rise. We are calling on the Government to take action to tackle the problem once and for all 👇
We have published our 2024 Global Accounts, which provide a financial overview of private registered providers of social housing for the year up to 31 March 2024.

New report out today by @NAOorguk providing an overview of @MHCLG's spending & performance, including the £10.2bn on housing & communities.

In 2023-24 @mhclg had a net spend of £40.7 billion.
£10.2 billion was spent on housing and communities and the remaining £30.5 billion went to local government for them to spend on local services like adult social care.

It’s great to see the govt has extended the move-on period for newly granted refugees from 28 to 56 days, as we and many others have long called for. This should make a significant difference to helping some of the most vulnerable avoid homelessness

🌍 This #FuelPovertyAwarenessDay, we’re proud to highlight our work delivering PAS 2035 retrofit services to 350 homes in St Helens with @WeAreTorus.
Funded by SHDF, we’re boosting EPC ratings through the installation of insulation, ventilation & upgrades - reducing energy bills
