ALT The Education Minister of Bangladesh Government, Dr. Dipu Moni, joined the event virtually as the chief guest. In her address, she expressed her intention to consider incorporating lifesaving swimming into the school curriculum. Dr. Moni commended CIPRB for organizing such a meaningful debate among young debaters, emphasizing its role in raising awareness about drowning prevention.
CIPRB has organised a couple of events to celebrate the 3rd WDPD. A national seminar, parliamentary debating competition among 96 teams, art competition, rally in the beaches, NGO coordination meeting in one district and 2 upzila #WorldDrowningPreventionDay
The 3rd World Drowning Prevention Day will be observed worldwide on 25th July 2023. In commemoration of this year's World Drowning Prevention Day, CIPRB has started week long programme by drawing competition in Taltoli, Barguna on 18 July 2023.
