WEEK 14: A fave in particular that stuck out to me was the ending battle scenes. Each perspective gives it a wider scope, making the battles feel large, epic, and terrible. The largest of which gave me Pelennor Fields vibes with siege towers and mayhem

Jason’s mommy issues x Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
The porcelain mask was creepy, and this was gory with some brutal kills.
I enjoyed the grit in the opening, which really sold the VHS b-slasher
Nothing revolutionary but papa loves zombie movies.
Of the rageful and ravenous style zombies. This is a pretty straight forward plot, but boy is it tense.
Not the best cast or movie ever, but the low rating surprises me.

If you’re willing to give strange, “out there” stories a go, this is perfect for you. The horror’s on par with Leede’s Headlights and does share a sort of otherworldly vibe. Vividly unique, wildly gory, and heinously deadly.
