Hi all. We're happy to share our latest paper, just published in @CellReports. We developed a scRNA-seq pathway analysis package and applied it to look at T cell activation in vitro and in tissue. Here's the paper: cell.com/action/showPdf?pii=ā¦.
Thank you for the congrats on the paper - true collaboration effort between the Zhang and Kemper labs and spearheaded fantastically by Jack (@jackabibby) and Divyansh (@divyansh_aga). Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Excited to share my group's first pre-print from the @MRC_WIMM. We screened ~7000 genes for their roles in blood stem cell differentiation in vivo: biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/ā¦
We also made a webapp resource so you can search for your favourite genes: hematopoiesiscrisprscreens.cā¦

Happy and proud to share that our amazing colleague and friend Susan Lea is now an elected Fellow of the Royal Society - congrats from all of us! @S_M_Lea@royalsociety
The sixth and final session of #KSINNATECOMP22@KeystoneSymp explores the āRoads less Traveled ā Emerging new Paradigmsā in Complement and Beyond.
Great short talks at #KSINNATECOMP22: Marlene Kanmogne @MarleneKanmogne demonstrated a protective role of C3aR during West Nile Virus neuroinvasive disease and Yingying Zhang used MERFISH to profile the complement system in brain development.
More beautiful minds at #KSINNATECOMP22: Dori Schafer @SchaferLabUMCMS demonstrated how C3 inhibition at synapses prevents synapse loss in neurodegenerative diseases and Andrea Tenner @andrea_tenner revealed how C5aR targeting controls neuroinflammation in Alzheimerās.
Fantastic Complement and beyond @KeystoneSymp#KSINNATECOMP22
Thanks @CKemperLab and @cj_binder for organizing it and to the whole team of the logistics. Great program! Looking forward to the next one!

Session 5 of #KSINNATECOMP22: āComplement makes for a beautiful mindā just finished! Daniel Reich @danielsaloreich started the session with a fantastic talk exploring complement-mediated chronic inflammation in multiple sclerosis.
Excited about the last day of #KSINNATECOMP22 featuring sessions focusing on Complement functions in the Brain and Emerging new Paradigms in Immunology!
The second day of #KSINNATECOMP22 ends with a great presentation by Markus Bosmann exploring C5aR redundancy in lung injury and infection.
#Complementbiology
Lubka Roumenina @roumenina beautifully demonstrated that the role of Complement is absolutely context dependent and introduced an exciting new integrative concept, the Complomentome. Very intriguing!
