Some myths about the economy are like zombies — they just keep crawling back. Here are the three that eat at me the most.

Hollow words it’s almost as if, Israel felt they had the tacit backing of western governments to starve the population Words that sprung from your mouth gave that impression and fuelled this crisis

❗️BREAKING❗️Rescuers killed in line of duty. Scenes like this unfold every moment in Gaza, often unseen, largely undocumented. I beg STATES: how much more must be witnessed before you act to stop this carnage? 🔴Break the blockade 🔴Impose an Arms Embargo 🔴Impose Sanctions.
🚨Civil defense teams were targeted by an Israeli airstrike during a live broadcast on Al-Ghad TV, the attack was the second on Nasser Hospital, killing journalist , Reuters photographer Hossam Al-Masry and others.

We’re out and about across the UK today to tell MPs and constituents that our country is missing out on £460m a week without a wealth tax. @RachelReevesMP doesn’t need to make cuts, instead she can tax the richest people like us to build a better Britain. #TaxOurWealth

Amazing news! French MPs this week voted for a wealth tax on the ultra-rich. It would introduce a 2% tax on any wealth over €100 million A wealth tax on the super-rich is exactly what we need here. And it's what I'm campaigning for. Join thousands of others and sign up below.

This is media censorship and it’s extremely concerning that another state is able to exercise this level of influence over how we report events

Labour's decision to raise tuition fees is a disgrace. Government ministers might not be in Parliament today had they not benefited from free tuition. Now, they are lumping the next generation with even more student debt. Young people deserve better. Abolish tuition fees now.

In Parliament, I just presented a petition backed by over 50,000 people calling for wealth taxes. A Wealth Tax of 2% on assets over £10 million alone would raise £24 BILLION per year. That's what we need - not more cuts and austerity. And that's what I'll keep campaigning for.

Scrapping the £2 bus fare cap is a disgraceful decision that will harm the poorest in society, and discourage public transport at a time when it is needed more than ever. Why is the government punishing people for trying to get to work?
