Thank you to @DenverChannel for helping shine a light on the critical need for blood donors this summer. The need for blood is constant, and the summer sees an increase in severe injuries from car accidents, ATV crashes, sports-related injuries and other summer activities.
At the American Red Cross, blood donations are dropping just as the need for blood is rising. The period between Memorial Day and Labor Day is considered the 100 deadliest days of summer with deadly crashes. denver7.com/lifestyle/health…

After an apartment fire displaced 52 people in Aurora, Red Cross volunteers and partners like @IMSalArmy stepped up to support those affected. A disaster assistance center opened Wednesday to help with urgent needs, as well as medical, mental health, religious & spiritual needs.
