⚡ Various tidbits of information regarding #SonicRacingCrossWorlds and Sonic Pico Park have been unveiled thanks to an intreview by @JeremymKlinger with Takashi Iizuka.
Iizuka aludes to the possibility of Year 3 for the game if the support for Year 2 is big enough.
He also goes on to confirm that Godzilla will indeed NOT be a playable character in the game, as he is simply too large.
As for Sonic Pico Park, he specified that the game will will feature 4 additional Sonic characters besides Sonic, Tails, Knuckles & Amy! 🍃

Seems like there's a bit of a disconnect of what's considered open world. Years ago large open interconnected areas were still classified as open world. Nowadays a "true" open world is things being seemless without transitions or loading screens from one region to the other.
Should the Ocarina of Time remake be fully open world, or stay more linear like the original?
