Gavel gavel!!!! Our resolution 'End plastic pollution: towards an international legally binding instrument' has been adopted at UNEA5 🥳 It is the very first INC created by UNEA, that will lead to the adoption of UNEA first ever global treaty, and it's on plastic pollution 😍

Help needed, I am confused! Is it home or industry compostable? What does it mean normal household waste? Does it go into the bio or residual bin? It is a a @Pukkaherbs product made in the UK. Thanks for the help in advance!

Attending the I. German Reusable Packaging Conference organised virtually by @Umwelthilfe #mwk2020. Shocking to see that the big players @lidl, @DeutschlandAldi and @Danone have a 100% single use quota for beverage packaging. Deposit ≠ Reuse!

8 months ago I organised this event to encourage people to send in own submissions for the new Irish Waste Action Plan. The new plan is out today & stating that Ireland is fully committed to transitioning to a circular economy. I just hope that they will keep their promise 👇link

Great news! We just got our #COVIDー19 rapid response proposal funded by @tcddublin. We will work with @DubCityCouncil and @IrishWater to run a pilot study using wastewater-based epidemiology for detecting viral disease outbreaks (think COVID or flu) in the city. #covid19ireland
