RIP Jesse Jackson. We don’t hate Chuck Schumer enough
Here's a clip of Chuck Schumer bragging about blocking the "Jackson plank," which was a proposed 1988 DNC platform item by Jesse Jackson's presidential campaign supporting Palestinian self-determination. RIP Jesse Jackson

This is the problem with Platner losing. They are making it about his tattoos and ex-girlfriends now, but if he loses, they'll call it a rejection of his politics. It's all manufactured for a reason. Absolute scum.
Platner’s national promoters seem so determined to prove their model for Democratic revival – running lefty, anti-corporate outsiders –is the best path for the party that they are ignoring the many signs that he may not be the right vehicle, or ME the right place, to prove it.

Those who value Nydia’s endorsement of @ReynosoBrooklyn should remember this endorsement of hers. Especially as he goes on interviews talking about how @claireforny and @nycDSA didn’t “ask for permission” to run in Nydia’s distract.
I'm proud to be in the trenches every day with @JoeCrowleyNY as we fight to protect healthcare, oppose the #GOPTaxScam, and help #PuertoRico recover, and I'm honored to endorse his re-election!

Genuinely disgusting that @EspaillatNY is talking $550,000 from Latino Victory Fund, money that should be spent on Latinos running in swing districts. I can’t wait for @DarializaforNY to take him down
American Priorities has spent $500,000 on ads supporting Darializa and opposing Espaillat. Latino Victory Fund has spent $525,000, CHC BOLD PAC has spent $230,000 and BOLD America has spent $2.5 million on ads supporting Espaillat and opposing Darializa.

Disappointed to see that the Sec. 224 provision from the House NDAA appears to have made it into the Senate version. We urge Senators to strip it from the Bill during the upcoming floor consideration.

🇵🇪 Peruvian leftist presidential candidate Roberto Sánchez publicly invited his right-wing rival Keiko Fujimori on Thursday to jointly request a vote recount, as the country’s runoff remains a statistical tie nearly a week after polls closed. “In light of the extremely narrow electoral result, I wish to publicly extend an invitation to Keiko Fujimori to meet at the earliest opportunity and act together in defense of transparency and public trust,” Sánchez wrote, proposing a joint request for “a thorough review and recount of the votes in all those tally sheets that the legislation allows.” With about 98% of tally sheets processed, fewer than a thousand votes separate the two, and the lead has changed hands repeatedly. Electoral authorities say no winner has been declared and a final result may not come until mid-July. Fujimori has separately said she hopes to speak with Sánchez.

This is insane: • UofM cracks down on and arrests anti-genocide student protesters • Ann Arbor prosecutor Eli Savit declines to prosecute • UofM recruits MI AG and Zionist lunatic Dana Nessel to personally prosecute the case—HIGHLY unusual for such low-level charges • Nessel forced to drop all charges to preempt court finding her unable to fairly prosecute the case due to her bias against Arabs and Muslims as well as her ties to Zionist extremist groups caught attempting to influence the court • Nessel (a Democrat!) turns to Trump DoJ and Kash Patel to bring felony conspiracy charges against the students

This is disgusting, these organizations are corrupt as hell. Not using those funds to get new seats or to fight fascism but just to keep this old husk of a man in power and a young Hispanic woman out.

I know he’s not DSA or anything, but still better than Bennett. And beating both of Colorado’s centrist incumbent Senators in one night would be a big win for progressives and the Tea Party movement

Another L take from Laken Riley Act supporting Georgia Senators Ossoff and Warnock. Correct take from @ChrisMurphyCT
News - With all of Platner's baggage, some Democrats think they can take the majority without Maine. This was unthinkable just a few months ago. - Sen. Warnock said Maine is no longer a total must-win to flip Senate: “We have many opportunities. And that map has grown wider" - Sen. Rosen said Dems "absolutely" can win without Platner: Iowa, Texas, Ohio, NC, Alaska: "There is a path for us to take the Senate back ... we're going to make some dents every place that we can" - Senate Dem: “I can imagine a scenario where you lose Maine” and win the majority. Blumenthal said: “We have a path without Maine. But we’re counting on winning Maine" D strategist working on Senate races: "Democrats have expanded the map....We don’t have to, nor should we, cross our fingers hoping Platner can drag a mountain of baggage across the finish line in Maine anymore.” - Rosen, Warnock, Ossoff not endorsing Platner. Fetterman openly going after him. Warren said Dems need to get on board: “He has a really good chance to win in this race. And we should help him do it" - Dem groups still keeping Maine on board but acknowledge there are multiple paths to the majority now - NRSC polling was "bleak" yesterday but Collins has improved her numbers a bit, one attendee said - Sen. Murphy thought my question was silly: "if I'm someone who believes that we're going to win Maine, then I don't spend any time thinking about not winning Maine"
