Here's another massive thank you - this one goes out to the incredible staff at the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter. You are truly angels in disguise. When I picked Lucy up, it was clear she had been well cared for. She’d been bathed, fed, and loved on. You even went out of your way to replace her ruined bed with a new one, and she’s already claimed it like it’s always been hers. You took a heartbreaking situation and did everything you could to make it a little softer for her. That kind of kindness doesn’t go unnoticed. The Shenandoah County Animal Shelter runs almost entirely on donations. If you’re able, they could really use your help. As we were getting ready to leave, it finally hit her that she was going home. She was excited, but also emotional. Before she took that first step toward the door, she turned around and went back to nuzzle the woman who had cared for her these past two months. One last, gentle thank you. That small gesture said everything about the kind of people who work there. To every staff member at the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter: thank you. From the bottom of our hearts.

That's the key issue that a lot of white people aren't understanding, and almost no black people are admitting... Karmelo didn't think he was in a self-defense scenario and just miscalculated because he didn't know the legalities. He felt as if people were trying to shame him, and in his culture that demands he escalate the situation. The conclusion must be either he causes them to back down, or he goes to jail for starting shit, but at least he has his black dignity intact. I would recommend no one approach a black person doing the wrong thing. At least not unless that dude is the real life Carlton Banks or Twofer. But if you absolutely must, approach them the same way a prison psychiatrist might approach a violent inmate. Be very careful of the words you use, and be mindful of their reach. Sure, maybe you're being overcautious most of the time (depending on where you are) but Austin Metcalf is dead because he made the mistake of assuming someone like Karmelo would be reasonable.

🚨Today, an innocent Penn State student was shot dead in cold blood for his phone in South Philly by black men! A 22-year-old college kid named Billy Schmidt was brutally murdered right outside his home. He was walking back from watching the NBA Finals when two black men tried to rob him for his phone. Billy chased them, and one coward black man shot him in the chest. He died at the hospital. No arrests yet. This senseless killing in South Philadelphia shows how out of control black men’s street crime has become. Hard-working young people can’t even walk home safely anymore. Billy had his whole life ahead of him – now it’s gone because of garbage black men who think they can steal and kill without consequence. Enough is enough. Police need to catch these black men fast and lock these black men up for good. Our cities are bleeding because of black men.

If that addict on your street were your own son, what would you do? That is the defining question that guides my 5 step plan to fix the homelessness problem in LA. We *must* end this evil racket of corrupt politicians and NGOs who profit off the misery of these poor souls. They launder money and feed them more drugs, so they can keep their customers locked in this hell on our streets. We have a moral obligation from God to help them and make our city safe and clean for everyone. Karen Bass and Nithya Raman have forsaken this city. Time for real leadership. To anyone worried about the political party “purity” of your voting record, the LA Mayoral race is non-partisan. And you’re not a government representative, so whom and what you voted for is not public anyway. The only way people will know for whom you voted is if you tell them. And if you’re friends with someone who would kick you aside just because you voted for some sanity in LA, then they weren’t much of a friend to begin with.
