Here’s my @nbcsnl complaint: why does nearly every actor in nearly every sketch need a wig? Just style their real hair differently. It takes things from “we’re a troupe of scrappy actors doing sketch” to “this is the crappiest, low budget movie you’ve ever seen.”

Why is the word "cohort" all of a sudden everywhere?

What the fuck is brain fog? Never heard of it until long Covid was announced to the world. Never heard a single person describe something that would fit the term. Now I read it every other day as if half the world has it.

Seth MacFarlane reveals the origins of the “it insists upon itself” line “[It] was criticism my college film history professor used to explain why he didn’t think The Sound of Music was a great film. First-rate teacher but I never quite followed that one”

In honor of @TheNeighborhood's Season 7 premiere, here's a spec script I wrote where Calvin becomes temporarily obsessed with heavy metal music. Really fun scenes for @CedEntertainer and Beth Behrs. drive.google.com/file/d/1DuC…

The industry produced 69 Christmas movies this year. I thought they made like 10!
Christmas movies are out of control. Here are 69 released in the last couple of months. Romcoms, horror, drama, animated, and more. Crazy.

The Kanye stuff is so transparently an irreverent finger to anyone who thinks they should be able to control him, his speech, etc., and the people he is targeting eat it up. It's like Madonna and conservatives in the 80s, but somehow "Liberals" are the conservatives today.

I just watched Mom for the first time and it is hilarious. But I think the marketing (and name) was all wrong. Based on the imagery, I always thought it was about a loving but overbearing mom. Not even close. I made some posters that I think reflect what the show really was.
