My absolute favourite use of Claude right now, helping me write Jira tickets in the right format (which is different per project). I still proofread everything it generates (cuz imagine it hallucinating wrong reqs) but boy does it save me time!

Friday fun project. I made a tool that sends Slack alerts everytime a tracked robots.txt changes. With various levels of severity built in. Wanted to bring vibe coding to the physical world. So now, a webhook triggers my esp8266 over wifi. In turn a sound plays on mini speakers

I can plug this into the wall, then hit a url on my phone and it'll play the alarm on the speaker 😇

youtube.com/watch?v=Y9of5PfN… Someone made their own remote-controlled Wall-E robot with LEGO and an ESP32 wifi card 🤯

Yeah like some people advising to serve Googlebot a markdown version of every page on your website. Traditional search, anyone? Markdown = no links, no <title>, no H1, no nothing
In my opinion, if you’re doing something “for AI search,” but that something has the potential to destroy your performance on Google, it’s not a good approach…. including for AI search.

You know how Claude, Cursor, Windsurf or whatever will tell you when you reached your daily token limit? They should introduce that to online meetings as well. "Sorry you cannot join anymore meetings today, as you reached your max minutes"

Being as fortunate as I am at TUI, we have a consultant that's doing brilliant analysis on AEO & traditional search impact actions. The stuff that's very hard to analyze It makes me realize that some of the greatest SEOs in the world are practically invisible online

In other words, many of the brightest SEOs in the world are not conference speakers, you may not have even heard of them ever.

POV: upgrading PHP version on a legacy webhosting package. 4 sites hosted there. 1 of them broke 5M pass, no time to fix it. Yesterday evening: 2 hours downloading the code from FTP to local folder. Opened in @windsurf, 10 minutes, 5 prompts. => Fixed!

I just found the single best robots.txt mistake in my 10 years of doing SEO. Having monitored 1000 robots.txt files daily! It's soo great, if I share you the code you'll be like: There's nothing wrong here? But Google robots.txt will say entire site is blocked!

Very interesting, @WSJ now explicitly allows every single AI bot. Even ScreamingFrog lol jancaerels.com/en/robotstxt/…

Hmm, @WordPress .org now explicitly allowing all AI bots

Belgium’s long-delayed Gare de Mons has finally opened after nearly two decades of design and construction. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, the station was conceived as a monumental bridge linking Mons’ historic center with the city’s newer southern districts, with the architect first winning the commission back in 2006. With its white structural ribs, sweeping curves, and glass-covered spine, the station is unmistakably Calatrava. The project became almost as well known for its long delays as for its design, but it now stands as one of Belgium’s most dramatic recent transport buildings. 📷 Santiago Calatrava LLC / Oliver Schuh
