It is a fun movie but I think it’s also deeper than people give it credit for. There are themes of loneliness, rejection from society, not knowing where you belong, and believing in yourself when no one else will.
I was skeptical, but ended up LOVING He Man! I've never been into the franchise, but this made me want more. Reminded me of when people liked the MCU formula. It felt like a good Marvel movie. It's not Oscar worthy cinema. It's not the Dark Knight but it is FUN!

My wife is a huge MOTU fan and when i turn around to say to her "what a fucking great movie" she was crying of happiness, cos she had a rough childhood and watching He-Man used to make her happy when she was little. This movie make you feel you are 10 years old again.
