This is an idiotic take, the six nations is derived from a competition specifically built from the 5 nations and the various cups competed between the home nations, they earned the right to be involved long ago, relegation ignores over a century of historical precedent

I wonder if any Roblox execs realize that the entire suite of their top 100 developers and teams, who make up almost 99% of the platforms entire value, adamantly despise that they spend resources on this instead of improving basic creative features?

Everyone on the Grow a Garden team has given everything to this project... blood, sweat, tears, and then some.
Many of us have spent the past 8 years mastering our craft on Roblox, growing alongside Splitting Point every step of the way.
There’s no question this level of success wouldn’t be possible without this team.
I truly believe this is a defining moment for UGC and indie gaming. There's a growing gap between what AAA studios are delivering and what players are actually looking for.

It's really important when developing games to make sure you spend almost as much time engaging with the rest of media out there, and with activities that can inform your design choices (Any sport, adventure hobby, etc) so that you can approach problems in all sorts of ways.

Been so dialed in on school, work, social life & game dev that my only "hobby" is working on game dev projects.

If you only ever "develop" as your hobby, you can very easily end up making decisions based on your "own experience" rather than pulling from the collective experience of 100,000's of other creatives out there who have painstakingly manifest themselves onto the screen or page.

This is the dumbest shit I've ever seen, I rarely disparage people's work, but holy fuck, skip the middle man and just burn down a forest, atleast that way you'd only be ruining the environment, and not also beloved artwork.

I love Halo, and I think fanart should always be held in high esteem. However, adapting the work product of another artist and large corporation to such a faithful degree, especially for a commercial project is enormously dangerous and legally dubious.

It doesn't really effect me, as my Roblox handle, twitter handle and real name are all very public info, with the latter being one and the same. But they really need to figure out a system to more directly obfuscate this.
