Today, the House Republican Caucus took a significant step by sending a clean Constitutional Carry bill back to the Senate, affirming our commitment to the Second Amendment rights of our citizens and aligning us with 27 other states. This legislation strengthens public safety by targeting illegal firearm possession among felons and ensures equal treatment under the law, reflecting our dedication to both the rights and responsibilities of gun ownership. Our actions are a direct response to the calls from our constituents, embodying responsive governance and the democratic process. As we move forward, we urge the Senate to join us in enacting a law that not only upholds our citizens' freedoms but also enhances the safety of our communities.

House Caucus Republicans are tirelessly advancing our commitment to protect our children's online safety, a key goal of this legislative session. The Child Online Safety Act aims to hold websites and apps accountable, ensuring minors do not access inappropriate content. The Social Media Regulation Act mandates parental consent for minors' accounts, limits access times, and empowering parents with oversight of their child's online interactions. Both bills passed in Judiciary Committee this afternoon, and we expect to hear them on the House floor soon.

We asked the Biden administration to reauthorize the Keystone pipelines this week. I know that this will fall on deaf ears, but the people of the USA need relief.

We definitely didn’t break any records (I guess that’s why it’s called fishing, not catching), but we had fun. At least we have some fresh tuna to eat. I think a couple of my fishing partners were wore out.
