bon voyage one of nine BTL Caltech crates -- will be tracking you closely
1/9 crates ready to ship! A massive milestone for the High-Lumi @CMSExperiment upgrade. 🚀 The @Caltech BTL trays assembled at #CPTLAbs are officially headed to @CERN for the @CMSExperiment High-Lumi upgrade. A journey years in the making — from design in the lab to hardware systems on the move. Bravo to Soham Bhattacharya & the whole crew! 👏 Next stop: Geneva! #HighLumiLHC #ParticlePhysics #Caltech #CMSExperiment #Innovation

Must read: the scientific method has now superpowers. "AI as the ultimate tool for science." — amacad.org/publication/daeda… From cracking protein folding to modeling reality itself, AI helps navigate vast search spaces, reverse-engineer nature, and tackle the big questions (What is time? What is gravity? How does it all fit together with the quantum world?) #AI4Science @demishassabis

Quantum AI = Quantum AI #DÆDALUSJournal #AAAS : great frontier for knowledge and discovery: harnessing superposition & entanglement we can probe nature at its deepest, crack intractable problems, design new materials & drugs, and maybe learn something about consciousness. From molecular biology to quantum gravity — discovery can now go exponential. @GoogleQuantumAI amacad.org/publication/daeda… watch James&Hartmut breaking it all down youtube.com/watch?v=yQPnb4gx…

How do we handle the intense environment of the High-Lumi LHC? Precision timing. ⏱️ Crystal-clear talk by Soham Bhattacharya (@Caltech) at the Lake Louise Winter Institute on the @CMSExperiment MTD upgrade. We're pushing for 30ps resolution to disentangle hundreds of collisions and tag long-lived exotic particles Check out the full slides here: indico.global/event/484/cont… Cc: @CERN @Fermilab @doescience @ENERGY

And in cases some/many authors too @WKCosmo
This is really giving reviewers too much credit.

Yes. And also maybe what if it's not one but many particles and even better no particle at all
I love this table.

reports of ΛCDM & SM death turn out to be an exaggeration time and again
Dark Energy Survey 6-year results: The S8 tension with CMB is still there (left plot), but still only two sigma-ish. Cosmological constant dark energy (w = -1, right plot) continues to be favored. The death of ΛCDM keeps not happening.
