Excellent to see the ALP working with The Greens to deliver stronger laws. Imagine the disaster if the deal had been done with the Coalition.
BREAKING: Labor’s stronger environmental laws and an independent EPA are set to pass the parliament.

Labor's latest defence for sending F-35 parts to Israel is that a weapons hub in Williamtown, NSW is US-owned and the decisions were made by Washington and Lockheed Martin – "a shameful surrender of our soverienty" @DavidShoebridge "A free Palestine means ending AUKUS" 🇵🇸

I saw people posting this and didn't think anyone could be this stupid. Went to the guy's page and it is an actual post. Another 'free speech warrior' who lives in 'alternative facts' land.

The science is clear: 'Exploitation of new oil & gas must stop if the world is to stay within safe limits of global heating'. It is incredibly disappointing to see the VIC Liberals & Nats backing fossil fuels over the technologies of the future: renewables & storage.

I really struggle to understand why the federal parliament doesn't take action against this guy.

Australia has strong gun laws, thats why we are so safe from gun violence. These laws are widely supported by the community. This guy, who is a federal senator is equal parts irrelevant nut bag (who has achieved nothing in parliament) & dangerous useful idiot of the US far right

Trump built a team of sycophants, and since flattery was their only qualification, it’s no wonder they can’t work escalators or manage a teleprompter.

This is sickening. The 'battle' of Wounded Knee is a well documented massacre, look it up.
Under my direction, the soldiers who fought at the Battle of Wounded Knee will keep their medals. This decision is final. Their place in history is settled.

Yep. Its like they are addicted to being electorally irrelevant. The energy transition is underway and a couple of whinging conservative MPs won't stop it.
Who cares what Barnaby Joyce or Matt Canavan or Andrew Hastie think about global heating? They are in an opposition rump and out of power for years. Let’s get on and legislate what’s necessary, not froth at the mouth about what a few inconsequential throw backs think.

Journalism as it should be done.
ABC’s John Lyons has fired back at Donald Trump’s “absurd notion” that asking legitimate questions could damage relations b/w the US & Australia “If our job as journalists is to hold truth to power, then surely asking legitimate questions politely…should be acceptable”🔥💯#Abc

The aging Liberal membership base is utterly out of step with the broad Australian electorate. They're rearranging deckchairs on the SS Liberal Titanic, convinced they’re steering the ship.
The Victorian Liberals voted to abandon net zero on the weekend. That makes it every mainland state! In every mainland state Liberal or National parties have now voted to abandon net zero.
