Did you know … that when the Laurentide Ice Sheet covered Canada only 22,000 yrs ago melted, stranded giant blocks of ice left behind were 100’s of metres to perhaps a kilometre thick. That is why Elk Island National Park looks like it does. buff.ly/2EtuyCu
