Lamont Butler is the prime example of what the transfer portal should look like. Play your entire career at a school, and become a legend there. Then, for a graduate year go somewhere else, in his case, the highest level of college basketball for one year.
Lamont is a legend at San Diego State and Kentucky and both fanbases love him so much for what he did at each school!

Shoutout to Jalen Brunson, just an absolute winner. 2x NCAA champion, and now an NBA champion and Finals MVP.
Took a pay cut so they could fill the roster around him with what was needed to get the city a championship again.
