Official treatment is done. I had my 35th Radiation treatment today. Now the slow process of healing can begin. I have lost a lot of weight but did not need a feeding tube. My taste is 95% gone and am daily pain(throat) even with heavy meds. My recovery will be slow. They told me to expect 6-8 weeks before I start feeling better, with probably 2-3 more weeks of throat pain. Taste is the last to come back with up to 3-6 months before that comes back. I would like to thank the many people who have stood by my side, supported my family, and have kept me and my family in prayer. It has been a very tough, as I was not able to teach for the last six weeks of school, my son is graduating high school/college, and my care has been intense. I had all my treatment out of town, which added many hours of travel. All the positive thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt comments/actions have made a difference. I am now going to focus on a slow recovery at home and dream of when I can taste real food again.

2026 vs 2016. Same exact outfit. My entire body now fits into one pant leg. 🤣😂 It’s been a long road but I’m happy I’m back to a healthy weight.

Here's a little preview of what I've been working on. Similar to my Metroid Zero Mission review I did 10 years ago, I'm going another round on stop animation for the skits in this review. Each body part moved by hand using verbal signal, then cut down,cut again, paired with audio

here's the timeline in Vegas where I have to painstakingly edit it frame by frame. Many frames are doubled up to stretch out a lack of movement, reflecting the lack of audio between dialog. Shout out to my pal @Candi_CGS for voicing Tyris btw!

I made this “Little Free Pup Stop” for my neighborhood and it’s brought me so much joy being able to see all the happy pups and people visiting. It’s super cute seeing folks share pics of them at the stop with their dogs.

Ok, I’m gonna try to have a better week than last week. Even if it’s half as bad as last week, I’d consider it an improvement. Last week I had to fly to Florida to help with family stuff last minute and then the next morning after I get back, my dogs nearly burn my house down.
