I snort when I see the constant refrain of 'Doug Ford needs to do this, that, or the other.'
Doug Ford knows what he should do just as clearly as anyone else, but he won't do any of it because it's not what HE wants and no one is stopping him from that.
What people do not see is Doug Ford secret agenda. The reason he is ignoring the obvious is because he is not focused on the same things we are. He is thinking about making Toronto Island into a giant casino. He needs BB, parking, highways, a Spa and control of lands to build it.

the DVP. Why is he really building a Spa, a giant parking garage? Then it all made sense. Ford knows Torontonians would never approve a giant casino on Toronto Island so he is sneaking it in. He is gradually taking control of the Port Authority. His end goal is the casino.
