I snort when I see the constant refrain of 'Doug Ford needs to do this, that, or the other.'
Doug Ford knows what he should do just as clearly as anyone else, but he won't do any of it because it's not what HE wants and no one is stopping him from that.
What people do not see is Doug Ford secret agenda. The reason he is ignoring the obvious is because he is not focused on the same things we are. He is thinking about making Toronto Island into a giant casino. He needs BB, parking, highways, a Spa and control of lands to build it.

Iβm sick and tired of people mocking those who care about the planet. Clean air matters. Living forests matter. Healthy oceans matter. Animals matter. Biodiversity matters. Wanting a livable world for future generations should not be controversial.

IMPORTANT ARTICLE. Fordβs waterfront jet plans will make Toronto gridlock far worse. Many jet supporters ignore this. Federal consultation is not based on response to a detailed plan and is biased. Use it to send a simple NO message. The battle continues.

I am a signatory to this letter.
Open, fully informed and unbiased public hearings are required, supported by due diligence and meaningful analysis.
The public cannot be expected to provide informed feedback when neither the proposal nor its impacts have been properly presented.
Forgive us for being suspicious, but all we have so far is a process the Province deliberately rushed into place to cut Torontonians out, and a federal consultation process built around a survey that reflects neither the complexity of the issue nor the information needed to properly evaluate it.

The latest Angus Reid data shows a 10 point drop down to 21% approval.

I fly ottawa to bill bishop 1-2/month. I can get from my house to airport in 10 mins, no checked bag... boarding 30 mins later... in sky 30 mins later... land in billy bishop 29-47mins later... wait 5 mins to get off plane..... 5 mins to walk out airport... hop in uber to dt....
