Decentralization and Security is our top priority. We will acheive better scaling on the layer 1 but decentralization and security will never be compromised. When a system is running people's data, voting systems, land/title deeds, securing other chains, and countless other critical pieces of infrastructure, IT CAN'T FAIL 👏👏👏 We will change the world. Consider me as a DREP if you share the same vaules. #Cardano

Cardano is going to surprise everyone this year! We firmly believe that cardano:native is one of the most undervalued projects in the entire space and our support for this amazing ecosystem is unwavering. We are seeing massive signs of dormant wallets awakening. There are huge spikes in the age consumed metric which means that older coins are finally starting to move in a big way. Historically this kind of movement from long term holders is a very strong signal for a major trend reversal. The market might be distracted right now but the fundamentals are incredibly bullish. We are so proud to stand with this community and secure the network! Cardano will win!

Officially voting Yes on all the IO proposals. No one is still yet to provide me with another company that can do the infrastructure right and cost less. If anyone knows of any competent companies that can get this done for cheaper , please have them submit a proposal now. Until then I vote Yes on all the infrastructure proposals. $ADA

Cardano doesn’t have a CEO. Cardano has DReps. Without a coordination layer, each DRep points in a different direction. All decisions come from decentralized chaos. This is solvable. DReps need to start talking to each other in DAOs or elsewhere.

As a DRep, I decided to vote NO on the proposal: Blockfrost: Maintenance and Next Generation Indexing My rationale: Blockfrost has received multiple funding rounds from Catalyst in the past. Last year, $1,300,000 from the Treasury. That is enough support for a private company under the IO umbrella to become a sustainable business. While Blockfrost provides a free tier, it operates a freemium model where production usage is monetized. Without disclosure of revenue, cost recovery, and sustainability metrics, it is not possible to determine whether this subsidy is necessary or whether it risks funding a commercially viable business. While Blockfrost is clearly an important provider, no independent data has been provided to justify subsidizing its operational costs over other competing services. Blockfrost is one of several capable API providers in the ecosystem, alongside Maestro and Cardanoscan, while decentralized alternatives such as Koios further reduce reliance on any single service. This suggests that the ecosystem does not depend on Blockfrost in a way that would justify exclusive treasury support. If we pick winners by subsidizing their business, others must also seek funding from the Treasury, or we support centralization by ensuring Blockfrost dominance. The winner should emerge from healthy competition, not through governance decisions. To be clear, access to blockchain data is essential, but this does not require subsidizing a specific private API provider. The ecosystem would benefit more from investment in open, decentralized, or protocol-level data access solutions that reduce reliance on any single service. Allocating treasury funds to an IOG-aligned service risks reinforcing centralization at the infrastructure layer, especially in a market where multiple alternative providers exist. Additionally, this proposal bundles two distinct components: the development of new infrastructure (Project Cayley) and an operational subsidy for Blockfrost's existing services. Combining them into a single vote prevents proper evaluation of each on its own merits and forces an all-or-nothing decision. If you'd like to support my work, consider delegating to the MANDA pool and backing me as a DRep. Your support is the only way I can get time for governance. IO’s 2026 treasury proposals are now live. We’re submitting nine proposals this year, with a funding ask just under 50% of last year’s, and a clear focus on getting the job done. With Leios testnet arriving in June and mainnet targeted by the end of 2026, the slate delivers the performance, security, and capability upgrades needed to move Cardano into its next phase. DRep voting is open now and closes on 24 May. Explore the full set of proposals → momentum.cardano.iog.io/ Kick-Off: The Cardano 2026 Proposals by IOG today 16:00 BST: twitter.com/i/spaces/1lKQRvz…

FluidTokens announced the first atomic swap between Cardano and Bitcoin on the mainnet. 50 ADA was swapped for 0.0001 BTC. An atomic swap is a peer-to-peer exchange of two cryptocurrencies between users on different blockchains. It ensures that neither party can cheat the other, although successful completion depends on both parties acting within a defined time window. ▪️They swapped ADA for BTC without using a bridge ▪️Fully non-custodial ▪️No middleman ▪️No wrapped tokens, native asset for native asset How does it work? They used a script-to-script swap. A script-to-script swap is a cryptographically enforced trade. On the Bitcoin side, hashed timelock contracts (HTLCs) were used. The same primitive is used in the Lightning Network. HTLCs allow two parties to lock funds using a cryptographic secret. Once one party reveals the secret by claiming funds on one chain, the other party can use it to claim funds on the other chain. This enables trustless atomic swaps across blockchains. Flow: Alice generates a secret S and computes its hash: H = hash(S) The hash H acts as a cryptographic commitment to S. Alice locks BTC into a Bitcoin HTLC script. The funds can be redeemed only if: ▪️the redeemer provides S such that hash(S) = H ▪️provides a valid signature corresponding to Bob’s public key. Therefore, even though Alice knows S, she cannot redeem the BTC. The script also includes a refund path: after a timeout, Alice can reclaim the BTC. Alice shares only the hash H with Bob. Bob verifies the Bitcoin HTLC and then locks ADA into a Cardano Plutus script using the same hash H, but with a shorter timeout. Alice redeems the ADA by revealing S. Bob observes S on-chain and uses it to redeem the BTC. If Alice does not redeem the ADA, Bob can reclaim it after the shorter timeout. If Bob does not redeem the BTC, Alice can reclaim it after the longer timeout. The time window must be large enough for Bob to safely act after S is revealed. Atomic swaps are not new. The first swap between Bitcoin and Litecoin occurred in 2017. Bitcoin and Litecoin share a very similar scripting model, making interoperability relatively straightforward. In contrast, Cardano and Bitcoin have fundamentally different architectures. Despite this, the team achieved a cross-chain swap purely through scripting, without using a bridge. Atomic swaps must account for the slower chain’s block time and potential reorgs, which makes timing design non-trivial. Congratulations to the team on this achievement.

Officially voted YES to Cardano Budget Process Framework (facilitated by Intersect) Officially voted YES to Dingo: a Production-Grade Block Producer in Go by Blink Labs Officially voted YES to Cardano Defi Liquidity Budget - Withdrawal 1 Officially voted YES to Cardano x Draper Dragon: Orion Fund Officially voted YES to Approve Cardano Foundation as New Managing Entity of Project Catalyst This is not conservative but as other chains are struggling it is time to keep Cardano's pedal to the floor and continue to build momentum in development, security, and build up the user count. We are on the right track. Accountability is important at this stage and will monitor everything for future funding. adastat.net/transactions/a0f…
