Worthy news, thanks for sharing. This impacts many!. I was excluded from the housing waiting list as I'd no known family. Years later I found them!. This rule imposed 6 yrs of homelessness on me after 15 years in the Care of Clwyd. Forced out at 16!. @CareExpUK

30 years ago, we (a determined group of careleavers) established the care & careleavers APG in Parliament! .. We were getting somewhere until the big charities decided to control our agenda. Massive let downs, but generations of our warriors fight on.

2. If you work at a university, advocate for care leavers. Ask what leaders are doing to support them.
3. Write to your MP demanding that 16/17 year olds in care receive just that - care.
