Lately, I keep hearing that IFX is the only drug with clinical trial in perianal Crohn’s...🧐 So, I’ve updated my cheat sheet on medical therapy trials in perianal CD, summarizing 15 RCTs into just one page. Hope it’s useful! Surgical part coming soon (If any is missing please let me know and I will add it) ⏳➡️ibd-eii.com/cheat-sheet/

The 'pits' on the polyp are base or openings of the crypts. This paper (bookmark!) details the 3D dimension of the crypts: link.springer.com/article/10… As the cells proliferate, the gland architecture distorts, so does the pit pattern. Used in Kudo, JNET, NICE classification

AI is not gonna replace physicians. However, physicians who don’t utilize AI will be replaced. When I am sick I want AI going through all my data and then render an opinion and an excellent clinician doing the same. Then the two of them can work together to fix me.

AI in GI training key points ▪️Set competencies & policies ▪️Delay use in endoscopy ▪️Taper autonomy & turn AI off at times ▪️Clinic scribes help; verify output ▪️LLMs are not stand alone ▪️Use evidence tools & cross-check ▪️AI is adjunct not decision maker Keep convo going!

Traded the endoscopy suite for Capitol Hill today. @AmCollegeGastro Advocacy Day is a reminder that the best outcomes start long before the colonoscopy - sometimes in a congressional office. 🏛️ #GITwitter

Love this paper 1. Checking ANA in everyone with elevated ALT is unhelpful, sometimes harmful, usually confusing 2. Biopsy when ALT <100 but ANA elevated is not useful 3. Autoimmune hepatitis is a clinical diagnosis and frequently made DESPITE biopsy findings
