One of the tools in my coaching and development toolkit is Bibliotherapy. Using books to connect with how we feel, or to explore a challenge, can be enlightening- I did this as a teacher daily! Pause, take 5 and connect with your purpose . youtu.be/zL0BVez5ois?feature…@HeadsUp4HTs
What a powerful scene from #StreetGangs - @G_Armstrong21 sums up perfectly how it only takes one teacher to believe in a pupil which can alter the whole trajectory of their life. Powerful stuff; one that will resonate with people of all ages.

What an amazing experience @Columba1400 with a fabulous group of people #Cohort101! I intend to keep tight hold of the lessons learned over the last few days. Ardoch is a very special place and I very much appreciated my time there. @SirTomhunter@scotgov@Greenwood_Acad
Trauma informed education is not a checklist, it's not a program, and it is not a curriculum. It is a change in mindshift. How we talk to our young people in the context of relationships and the feeling of safety through an approach of brain and body state of connection. 🧠🌱
