Chameleon Alert!
Wool E. Bull has challenged us to read for 30 minutes a day for 4 weeks! If you take on and complete the challenge you will be able to receive a ticket to a Sunday-Thursday @DurhamBulls game in August or September!

This Field Day, I wanted to create a photo backdrop for families to use. I collaborated with our art teacher and had 5th graders help paint it. So happy with the final result and it was an absolute hit! Such an easy addition and nice visual for #FieldDay

Crazy Kickball keeps students active and engaged. One team kicks ball until all has had a turn. No outs. Each player runs bases. Fielding team works together to retrieve balls and hurry them to bucket. If pitcher goes to pitch and thereβs no ball in bucket, kicking team gets 1pt.

Had the pleasure to sit in on K, 2nd, and 3rd huddles for day 2 of Boosterthon today. We visited the Everglades and learned about stewardship. We have raised $3,088 so far way to go Chameleons! See you tomorrow at Yosemite!

Thank you to @CarpElem, Dr. Jones, Mr. Miller, and The Kentwood Learning Center for putting on such an amazing night. In my career as a teacher, it was probably one of my favorite memories I had with my students.

We kicked off our basketball last week, and I always like to introduce the unit with the Harlem Globetrotters. In perfect timing they will be coming to PNC Arena on April 16 at 3:00 PM. If interested I highly recommend your family go and see the greatest show on hardwood!
