Ironically, the Constitution gives the feds no authority to "supercharge our civics education." edweek.org/teaching-learning… Education is one of innumerable things left to the people and states.

Why are we paying for these kinds of messages? I thought this department was going away.
Luck has its place on #StPatricksDay - but in education, opportunity should never be left to chance. Every student deserves access to a quality education.

Are you against school choice but for federal involvement in education, despite the Constitution giving the feds no authority to govern in ed? This is what can happen: wdrb.com/news/politics/kentu…

Replying to @JasonBedrick
Just in a quick scan I see parents will be limited to a list of approved curricula and will only be able to make purchases through the online marketplace. Bye-bye flexibility, purchasing used materials, trying out new options. And that's just skimming the surface. I'm so baffled.

I like the minimalism. But where is even that in the Constitution?
The federal role in education is simple: spotlight the great work happening at the local level. States, local leaders, and parents drive innovation in education — and students succeed when communities lead!

Unless authorities in Alabama have evidence this Islamic school is doing something illegal & they can prove it in court, it should be treated no differently from any other school. nytimes.com/2026/03/16/us/po…

It would be empowering for Kentucky families to have school choice. But constitutionally, federal education tax credits shouldn't exist. fox56news.com/news/kentucky/…

Have higher education leaders ever said, "That cut would be fine": "But any cuts to Pell would be devastating, higher education leaders say." insidehighered.com/news/gove… And remember: Taxpayers fund Pell & we have an almost $39 TRILLION national debt.
