One of the most ridiculous bits of gaslighting from the OKC fans/apologists in the last month was the idea that players flop to protect themselves. There’s nothing safe about a player deliberately throwing his body on the ground, as Barnes’ flop into Brunson just showed.

Highest foul rates (per 100 poss) in the postseason: 1. Orlando 2. Minnesota 3. Detroit 14. OKC & they were 24th in the RS. It’s not just Shai being one of the league’s grifters. It’s that they get away with murder on the other end. & the other great defenses clearly don’t.
