𝗬𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟳𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. People who refused to accept that race should determine how long you live, how safe you give birth, or how quickly your pain is believed. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲 𝗢𝗕𝗘 𝗗𝗟 𝗙𝗙𝗣𝗛 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗹𝘆: "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 '𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱'." And later: "the battle is still there and if we don't fight, nobody will." In a political and economic climate that challenges the progress we fight for, those words landed like a charge. Under the theme 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲, we heard from parliamentarians, clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and community. 𝗧𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀 tackled everything from structural racism and digital health equity, to maternity outcomes, Mental Health Act reform, cardiovascular disease, and climate justice. 𝗧𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿, 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂.
