#FoodWaste is one of the most common types of waste worldwide. @FeedingAmerica estimates that 40% or 119 billion pounds of the U.S. food supply is wasted annually. Creating #RenewableEnergy from the waste in a #Biogas system allows for capture of methane. #BenefitsOfBiogas

Wow Denmark! 31% biomethane in the gas grid🤌🙌🏼
Teamwork🙏🏽
Great coversations about How Danish Biogas technologies can help California with its biogas production - making it more sustainable while increasing the economic benefits🌱💰 We hosted a Biogas session together with #GrainIT & #Biogasclean @CDFAnews

Behind the scenes/ Tuning in on #Wisconsin! We opened the floor with the facts that Wisconsin & Denmark has the exact same population - but WI being 3.3 times bigger 🌳. For both places #agriculture is a HUGE economic driver and as US’s Dairyland, WI is home to 6,700 🐄 farms!
👍🏼🇩🇰

Big news from🇩🇰 Today Denmark’s very first Biogas Filling Station has opened. It will primarily fill trucks to reduce the CO2 emissions from the heavy transport industry. The World-known #Dairy company #Arla will be one of the primary users for it’s 100%-biogas-trucks
