We have expanded access to banking in Bukwo District with the launch of a new deposit-enabled ATM in Bukwo Town Council. For years, residents of Bukwo and neighbouring Kween have travelled up to 68 kilometres to Kapchorwa for basic banking services. The new facility brings withdrawals, deposits, and other transactions closer to home, for customers and non-customers alike. The ATM is expected to serve more than 5,000 people across both districts, while supporting around 20 agents who can now rebalance float locally to improve liquidity and service delivery.
