As part of our commitment to build and operate the most resilient coastal grid in the nation and to continue preparing for the 2026 hurricane season, CenterPoint Energy conducted a full‑scale Hurricane Preparedness Exercise today at our Emergency Operations Center. Thank you to the 400 CenterPoint team members and partners who participated in today’s all‑day exercise, focused on emergency coordination, system restoration planning and customer communications. The exercise also included approximately 100 observers, including state and local officials, emergency managers, business leaders and community stakeholders. Their participation supports shared readiness, coordination and situational awareness, helping position CenterPoint and those involved to respond and serve our customers safely and efficiently when severe weather impacts our communities.
