It’s his 70th.
It’s raining.
Traffic is a mess.
It’s summertime and we are distracted.
It’s stinking hot and humid.
Go vote! No excuses. Not a better way to celebrate America’s 250th bday 🇺🇸 #alpolitics
HUGE!!!
@CivilRights co-authored the amicus brief of the United States supporting this outcome. Proud to do our part to stand up for equal rights and votes for ALL Americans!
Let’s goooooo @CarlForAlabama Couldn’t be prouder of your incredible work, character & love of CD1! #alpolitics May 19 everyone still vote but maybe we will see a summer special election for Congressional members. Let’s roll….cheers to #scotus for upholding the Constitution
BIG #alpolitics breaking news: SCOTUS has vacated the original lower court order requiring Alabama to use the map drawn by a special master that created a second majority-minority district. Looks like the state will be allowed to proceed with the plan passed last week.
Maybe so on a stand alone lawsuit AL had to pay lawyers but for budgeting, grants, funding, general budgeting of AL taxpayer dollars it doesn’t seem to be the case- and that’s a good thing. This information on the SPLC is outrageous! @CalebTTaylor
AI search: Public records, financial statements, and reporting show no evidence of direct state dollars, grants, or contracts from AL’s budget to the SPLC. Searches of govnt sites, and related coverage turn up nothing indicating taxpayer funding from AL @1catherinesiena
Fabulous news! Thank you @GovernorKayIvey Through the gnashing of teeth, misinformation and the weight of hard lobbying, you leaned into giving the parents control of their children’s education.
This is your legacy.
You’ve changed lives.
Alabama is grateful. #alpolitics
49,000 students!
A record almost 49,000 Alabama students have applied for the CHOOSE Act for the 2026-27 school year.
The CHOOSE Act is changing lives for Alabama families, and I am proud we are able to give them school choice. #alpoliticsgovernor.alabama.gov/newsroo…
This needs to end yesterday! Government is not the pass through guy for union dues. Want to join the union? Go for it.
Want AL taxpayers to be their distributors of their dues?
Absolutely not. #alpolitics
What a bunch of nonsense!
Complicated ways to register to vote?
Name, Address, City, Zip
Last 4 #s of your SS# or AL Dr Lic #
-Online, Mail or In Person
Only “disenfranchisement” is self choice in not registering or voting.
Pure fiction. Embarrassing.

Advocates rallied at the Statehouse Wednesday to back legislation aimed at breaking barriers that disenfranchise marginalized voters across Alabama.

I mean… 🤷🏼♀️ @aprylmarie
If we’re in charge, be in charge. We were told to sit down and be quiet for 136 years and if Dems were in charge, they wouldn’t give us the time of day.
There’s a 136 year history that says so. So let’s go….
