We’ll this is it...We made it to the European Championships Final! Whatever happens from now on I have to remind myself that I am happy, I am healthy, I have people besides me that love me unconditionally and most importantly, I’ve already won the battle within.
OH .. and by the way let’s not forget .. this mark is TWENTY FEET .. 20’01/4” to be precise .. seriously 20 bloody feet - let that sink in - only 3 men “born to fly” Mondo / Pole Vault pantheon .
Another Mondo record. 👽
After clearing 6.10m last night, @mondohoss600 now holds the record for most 6.10m-plus competitions in history
🇸🇪 Duplantis 12
🇺🇦 Bubka 11
🇫🇷 Lavillenie 1
And he’s still only 23!

Super proud of @HollyBradshawPV tonight - first time in the commentary box and she absolutely nailed it.
Amazing to see her growth over the last 10 years to the point where she now speaks with such knowledge and confidence. Privilege to witness. 😊👍 #ratata
Tina Sutej 🇸🇮 competed with a cut in her hand sustained during the warm-up of her European Championships pole vault final.
Despite this, she managed to jump 4.75m, a SB and 1 cm off of her outdoor NR and won the 🥉bronze medal.
Look at that cut 🤯🙀
Great photo !! .. a peek at the PV pit to the right brought warm memories of vaulting at my school ( same loose foam set up ) Dr Challoners in Amersham .. good times / no bad days 😉💪..

🏃Today we have an impressive photo of Sir Gareth Edwards competing in the Long Jump during House Athletics around 1965/66!
🏉As well as being famously known for his Rugby achievements, Sir Gareth was a great sprinter - especially over 200 metres!
How many years before @mondohoss600 clears that horse? 😂🇸🇪🐴
The people of Avesta, Sweden wasted no time in raising their own “Mondo bar” one centimeter when the national hero broke his own WR on Monday.
The Dala horse next to it is 13m tall…but never say never 👀
