$JSECLI Who the hell is buying CLI today at 1944 to 1990 !?? Do they realise that the buyout is happening right now for 1990c ? It will be paid via a dividend and for South Africans that means you will get 1592c

$JSEMTU Considering MTU bought Blue Ridge for R100, selling it for R50m seems like a pretty good deal! That being said. Almost nothing makes sense with MTU and I truly dont know what to believe!

How is this even a thing? How does humanity and society accept football hooliganism as something we should just put up with. CRAZY
🇫🇷 Toulouse is near 700km from Paris and these clowns still turned it into a smash-and-grab zone Bros traveled farther than most Euros go on holiday just to wreck the place... The third world is playing Mad Max. Deportation speedrun when?

Financial and economic literacy at a literal zero. This right here is why populism works in most countries. Frightening to see such influential people can have such low understanding. Boggles my mind this. Race to the bottom
Joe Rogan: “I talked to Tim Dillon today… He told me that gas is $7.90 a gallon in LA right now.” Brendan Schaub: “And that's down from what it was. I was out there a month shooting a commercial and it was up to $8.40 something.” Joe Rogan: “Here's what I don't understand. Are we getting oil from Iran?... So are they just f*cking us in the a$$?” “Or is it global prices went up because some of the gas can’t get to where it needs to go, and so they need to make that money so they just f*ck you. Isn’t it funny? They’re like, we’re going to make money no matter what. The American people are going to lose money so we make the same amount of money. F*ck you, you need oil.” “[Oil executives are] a bunch of crooks. We should have a national oil company and only sell in America. Keep it in house so no matter what foul sh*t we do outside the in the world [prices don’t go up].” “Even though U.S. is the largest oil producer, companies can sell oil on the global market to whoever pays the highest price. High world prices still translate into high domestic gas prices.” “Hey, Mr. President, please fix that.”

Tell them you want to close your account and can they help you? I get these cold calls all the time to sign up to things. The moment I mention closing or cancelling a contract they go quiet, say I need to jump through 100 hoops and phone another number
I am getting around 5 spam calls a day from Standard Bank and Liberty Life. The same numbers, again and again. Do people really transact based on these calls? How do I make it stop?

$TSCO $JSEKAL One thing about TSCO tractor supply co is that it had 40yrs of amazing growth before the latest stumble. KAL had some decent performance on the OTC market but its been piss poor since being listed on the JSE!
Wow, interesting comment on a US consumer facing business that (has) been a stellar performer but stumbled Tractor Supply Company Also interesting if you overlay the US agricultural retail business with @JSE_Group listed agricultural business $JSEKAL KAL Group The parallel is canny

$JSEFSR This here is an issue I often have with Exec compensation terms Huge upside bias with almost no downside risk Tiger Brands execs got bonuses on Dangote Flour acquisition but didnt share in pain WHL huge bonuses on Aus (David Jones) expansion but dont share in pain
Firstrand $JSEFSR hiked its UK motor commission provision by R11.9bn to R17.7bn last week. In previous years, executive bonuses were paid on "profits" that have now turned into massive liabilities. So, shareholders are effectively being asked to subsidise past executive pay:

#LUCKYGUY? Quite funny how Trump, Putin and Kim Jong Un are some of the richest people on the planet ...
🇿🇼 In 2000, Robert Mugabe, then president of Zimbabwe, won the 1st prize jackpot in a national lottery organized by a government owned bank.

This is typical twitter bizarre nonsense tweets South African mines are not owned by the government. They are owned by shareholders. Many who arent even South African. They have a profit motive. The end So its not 'South Africa' selling coal to Israel its a private company 1/n
In his first speech @geordinhl doubles down on the propaganda that the ANC received money from Iran. The story was spread by groups affiliated with SA's Israeli Lobby. Why does he maintain the lie? South Africa currently supplies the majority of Israel's coal. He won't criticise that, because it's in the interest of his true consistuency to do so, his funders - and not his voter.

If I own a prvt company I can sell to whoever? My prvt dealings do not reflect the countries alliances The ANC aligning with Iran is completely differently from a prvt company selling their product for profit ANC needs to represent SA. Align with countries that benefit us! 2/n
