Thanks to @Feargal_Sharkey for supporting our letter to @DefraGovUK about South East Water's lack of an internal audit function. We first flagged this to @Ofwat two years ago and warned of exactly the kind of failures we've now seen with devasting impacts for customers.
"South East Water still has ‘troubling’ governance gap, warn auditors."
I suspect there'll be 100,000 people in Tunbridge Wells and surrounding area not in the least surprised by any of that.
