In 2023, I wrote about being a psychiatrist who lived with suicidal ideation and the need for our society to discuss suicidality openly to decrease stigma.
In April 2025, I wrote about the framework I used to notify others, create goals to keep me alive, cultivate self-love, and radically accept my suicidality when it arose.
In August 2025, I wrote about the framework I use to turn each and every suicidal thought from a seemingly insurmountable force into solvable components.
Today, we move forward in my narrative.
This time, I write to you all to share the four steps I use to navigate and continue my healing journey in the months after my suicidality goes into remission.

Board game night with family.
We were born to have fun(damental rights) as queer people.
We were born to be cute queers who arenβt continually fighting for our rights and enjoy a peaceful life instead.
In all the chaos in the world, it has been magical to be with this group where we can discuss the world, take on whatβs happening in our own ways, and also take time to breathe together and simply exist.
We all get through this together, and I couldnβt ask for better people to be beside as we heal our society (this includes all of you).
