#OTD in 1929, Anne Frank was born at Frankfurt, Germany. This Jewish girl is remembered today as the accomplished, insightful writer of a work that has touched millions of readers. She died at Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Feb or March 1945.

Accompanied by the giant figure groups from the neighbourhood and Barcelona, and under the coordination and management of the Barcelona Giant Figures Groups (Colles Geganteres de Barcelona) Coordinator, we will highlight our festive heritage, shared roots and the community spirit that unites us.
A very special celebration fostered by Casa Batlló, La Pedrera – Casa Milà, and the Passeig de Gràcia Association, to pay tribute to Gaudí's legacy and the popular culture that is part of our identity.

One hundred years after his death, the Sagrada Família will celebrate a solemn mass presided over by Pope Leo XIV and, subsequently, the blessing and inauguration of the tower of Jesus Christ, one of the great milestones of the project conceived by Gaudí.
