A school in Agra district was slapped with a fine of ₹5 lakh for directing students to buy books and uniform from one particular shop. This is a norm in almost all private schools across UP and education department just woke up to this.

If things stay this way I urge the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh @Gulab_kataria to seriously consider shutting down all schools , especially for small children till the situation mitigates.

High Court dismisses petitions of Independent Schools Association. They will have to upload Balance Sheets.
Now, the administration should start issuing showcause notices to all the defaulter schools, this will expose their loot.

This gesture of a pvt school voluntarily waiving extra charges, deserves our appreciation.
May good sense prevail, and other private schools also drop money-minting tendencies and show a human face in these extraordinary testing times, without being forced to do so by law.
