If you found yourself stuck on 290 for what felt like forever yesterday, this is what happened. A police chase linked to a reported shooting came to a sudden and violent end when the vehicle rolled over on the expressway, throwing three suspects onto the roadway. The suspects were being chased at the time, and weapons were recovered from the vehicle. The crash shut down lanes for an extended period, leaving drivers sitting in traffic as officers worked the scene. #chicagoscanner
