AI collapses the value of generic software, generic apps, generic content, and generic communities.
A lot of blockchains depend on exactly those things to justify their existence.
The chains that survive the agentic revolution will be the ones that become trust infrastructure for autonomous systems, not just venues for human speculation.
They need to offer what AI agents cannot get from normal software: cheap programmable settlement, verified external data, agent identity and permissions, private execution with public accountability, reliable liquidity, proof of actions, and enforceable economic coordination across parties that do not fully trust one another.
