Together with my colleagues in the Opposition, I formally signed over the no confidence motion against the Energy Minister to the Speaker. The same was handed over to the Hon Speacker a short while ago. This is a necessary step to hold those responsible accountable for the ongoing crisis affecting our people. We stand firm in our duty to demand transparency, responsibility, and better governance for Sri Lanka.

Day 2: Currently undertaking a study visit to Jaffna, a delegation of cross-party politicians, including members of parliament, engaged in a formal dialogue with Northern Provincial and local government representatives representing the ITAK, including mayoress of Jaffna. The discussions centered on critical issues in local governance and administration, with the aim of providing the delegation with a deeper understanding of regional challenges, notably, the devolution of power, citizens access to state services, police brutality and surveillance, regional connectivity and human rights related matters.
